Came across the Warrington web site and memories start coming back like it happened just yesterday. This is your Storekeeper chief (ss) Greg Dorado retired in Orange Park, Florida E-mail [email protected]. I think I have seen a re-union announcement one time, maybe the next I will try to come and meet the old crew again.
From USS Warrington, I was ordered to JP Kennedy and caught up with her in Naples, Italy however She was decommission upon returning to RI. I was then ordered to USS Paul (FFT 1080) was changed homeport to Mayport , Jacksonville, Florida. Made a couple of Middle East trip via Brazil and around to Indian Ocean back to Africa. My last duty station was NROTC Jacksonville University where I retired after 23 years. I then went to work for Federal Got Defense Logistic Depot, Jacksonville and retired as GS-9 after 15 years last March of 1994.
AT JU I learned and enjoy playing racquet ball and play for 12 years. Gets too old for the fast game. Now just enjoying taking care of 3 grand daughters, fishing, back-yard gardening and traveling . Have made two reunion with shipmates on my 2nd submarine USS SPINAX SS-489 and planning to attend the 3rd oncoming in Sept in San Diego. Hope we will have one for Warrington.
Hope and pray everyone and everything with you and family is doing well and fine. GOD BLESS
Greg/Tina
